Gianfelice Mario Rocca was born on March 2, 1948, in Milan, Italy. He is the son of Roberto Rocca, who was a key figure in the steel industry. Rocca's family has a long history in entrepreneurship. Rocca joined the Techint Group in 1974 and became Chairman in 1997.
