Meckenzie's career began in the online gambling industry. In 2001, he co-founded 10bet UK, an online gambling company. However, his breakthrough came in 2007 when he founded SBTech, a software provider for sports betting technology. SBTech became a major player, providing technology to numerous sportsbooks. In 2020, SBTech merged with DraftKings, which propelled Meckenzie into the ranks of billionaires and made him the largest shareholder of DraftKings. In 2021, he founded Amp, a home digital strength device powered by AI.
