Pansy Catalina Ho Chiu-king was born on August 26, 1962, in Hong Kong. She is the eldest of five children of Stanley Ho, the Macau casino magnate, and Lucina Laam King-ying. She attended St. Paul's Convent School in Causeway Bay (Hong Kong), Castilleja School in Palo Alto, California, and Santa Clara University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business in 1983.
Rise to Success
Pansy Ho began her career in the Hong Kong entertainment industry in 1981, appearing in a TVB series. She later launched her own public relations firm at age 26. Ho's career took a significant turn when she took over major enterprises in gaming, hospitality, property, and transportation. She became the Managing Director of Shun Tak Holdings in 1999, and Group Executive Chairman in 2017. She holds significant stakes in casino operators including MGM China and SJM Holdings.
