Early Life
Min-Liang Tan was born in Singapore on November 5, 1977. He is the youngest of four children. Tan attended Raffles Institution and Hwa Chong Junior College before pursuing his legal education at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2001 and a Master of Laws (LLM) in 2002, ranking in the top 20 of his postgraduate class.
Rise to Success
After graduating from law school and practicing law for a short period, Tan co-founded Razer in 2005 with Robert Krakoff. Razer started with high-performance gaming mice and has since expanded into a global brand for gamers, offering a wide range of hardware, software, and services. Tan's vision and leadership propelled Razer to become a major player in the gaming industry. The company went public in 2017, making Tan the youngest self-made Singaporean billionaire at the age of 40.
