Early Life
Min-Liang Tan was born on November 5, 1977, in Singapore. He is the youngest of four children. Tan's parents instilled a strong emphasis on traditional success, leading him to pursue a law degree at the National University of Singapore. He later became an advocate and solicitor at the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Rise to Success
Tan's passion for gaming, ignited in his childhood, led him to co-found Razer in 2005 with Robert Krakoff. The company started by creating high-performance gaming mice and later expanded into a wide array of gaming hardware, software, and services. Razer's initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong in 2017, made Tan one of Singapore's youngest self-made billionaires. Tan's vision has propelled Razer to become a global leader, with products sold in over 70 countries.
