Massimo Antonio Doris was born in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, on June 9, 1967. He studied at the Istituto Gonzaga in Milan and later graduated with a degree in political science from the University of Milan.
Rise to Success
Doris's career began in 1996 when he joined Mediolanum, initially focusing on management control and the door-to-door sales of life insurance policies. He gained experience in the financial market, working in London as a sales assistant at UBS, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse Financial Product from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, he returned to Milan to work on the launch of an online trading platform. Doris progressed through various roles, including Italian Network Manager, and was responsible for the network of financial advisors at Banca Mediolanum. In 2005, he became CEO and General Manager of Banco de Finanzas e Inversiones, the Spanish financial conglomerate of Banca Mediolanum. He was appointed CEO of Banca Mediolanum in 2008.
