Early Life
Helena Revoredo Delvecchio was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1947. She is the daughter of businessman Juan Federico Revoredo. She earned a bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and an MBA from IESE Business School. In 1975, she married Herberto Gut, and they moved to Spain, where he established the Spanish subsidiary of a security company, leading to the founding of Prosegur.
Rise to Success
Revoredo's husband, Herberto Gut, founded Prosegur in 1976. After his death in 1997, Revoredo took the helm, initially as a director and later as chairman in 2004. Under her leadership, Prosegur expanded globally, becoming a major player in the security industry. Revoredo's career highlights include serving as a director of Banco Popular Español and on the board of Endesa, making her the first woman to hold this position. In September 2019, she became a shareholder in Telefonica following the acquisition of Prosegur's security alarm subsidiary.

Helena Revoredo's key strategies have included maintaining family involvement, with her son, Christian Gut, serving as CEO and her daughter, Chantal Gut, as a board member. She retained control of Prosegur through her holding Gubel SL, even when her shares dropped below 50%.
