Early Life
Helena Revoredo Delvecchio was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1947. She is the daughter of businessman Juan Federico Revoredo. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and an MBA from IESE Business School. In 1975, she married Herberto Gut. The couple moved to Spain, where Herberto established the Spanish subsidiary of a security company, which would later become Prosegur.
Rise to Success
Herberto Gut founded Prosegur in 1976. Helena became the chairwoman of Prosegur in 2004, following her husband’s death. Under her leadership, Prosegur has grown significantly, expanding its global presence and diversifying its services. Revoredo was the first woman to sit on the board of Endesa, Spain's largest electric utility company.

Revoredo's leadership has focused on strategic expansion, technological advancements, and service excellence. Prosegur operates in over 30 countries across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, providing services such as cash transport, alarms, and cybersecurity solutions. The company has embraced innovation to stay at the forefront of the security industry. Revoredo controls approximately 60% of Prosegur’s capital through the holding company Gubel SL. Her son, Christian Gut, serves as the CEO of Prosegur, and her daughter, Chantal Gut, is on the board, continuing the family's involvement.
Philanthropy
Helena Revoredo is involved with the Prosegur Foundation, which supports education and social integration for people with disabilities. The foundation operates in schools in impoverished regions of seven Latin American countries.
