Micky Arison is an Israeli-American businessman and the Chairman of Carnival Corporation, the world's largest cruise operator. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1949, Arison moved to the United States with his family and later attended the University of Miami, though he did not graduate. He began his career at Carnival Cruise Lines, rising through the ranks before becoming CEO in 1979, a position he held for 34 years. Under his leadership, Carnival experienced significant growth, expanding its fleet and solidifying its position as the industry leader. Beyond his role at Carnival, Arison is also the owner of the Miami Heat, the NBA franchise, since 1995. He has led the Heat to three NBA championships. As of February 2, 2026, his net worth is estimated to be $7.5 billion.
