Evangelos Mytilineos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1954. He graduated from the Moraitis School and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Athens and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Department of Business Administration and Management at the University of Piraeus in 2019.
