Early Life
Casey Foyt, born February 10, 1983, is the middle daughter of the late Jim Irsay, former owner of the Indianapolis Colts, and Meg Coyle. Growing up, she was immersed in the world of professional football, attending games and learning the business of sports firsthand. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, while her father was working for the Baltimore Colts, and moved to Indianapolis at a young age. Her educational journey led her to Indiana University Bloomington, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sports marketing.
Rise to Success
Foyt joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2007, focusing on marketing and community relations. She played a key role in revitalizing the Indianapolis Colts Women's Organization, organizing its first major fundraiser. In 2012, she was named vice chair and co-owner, which was a significant step in her career. With her father's passing in May 2025, Casey, along with her sisters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon and Kalen Jackson, inherited the team, solidifying their roles as owners. She now holds the title of Owner & Executive Vice President.
Key Business Strategies
Foyt's work with the Colts involves managing the franchise's marketing and community relations, and representing the team at NFL Owners' Meetings. Her strategic focus has been on connecting with the fanbase and promoting the Colts within the Indianapolis community. She also played a part in planning the NFL's first regular season game outside North America, in London in 2007.
