Binny Bansal was born around 1982/1983 in Chandigarh, India. His father worked as a bank manager, and his mother was in the government sector. He attended St. Anne's Convent School in Chandigarh and later pursued a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, graduating in 2005.
