Molly Miao is a Chinese business executive best known as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Shein, a global online fashion retailer. She has been a key figure in Shein's rapid expansion and success, initially serving as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Miao has played a crucial role in shaping Shein's marketing strategies, digital supply chain, and its test-and-scale merchandising model. She is a graduate of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Miao's leadership has been instrumental in Shein's growth, making it a leader in the fast-fashion industry. She is responsible for overseeing market operations and announced in August 2024, a pilot program to implement profit-and-loss accountability.
