Early Life
Alejandro Pedro Bulgheroni was born on October 24, 1943, in Rufino, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. He is the son of Italian and Spanish immigrants. He obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
Rise to Success
Bulgheroni joined his father's company, Bridas Corporation, in 1965. After his father's death in 1985, Alejandro and his brother, Carlos, took control of Bridas, transforming it into one of Argentina's largest private energy companies. In 2010, the Bulgheroni brothers sold a 50% stake in Bridas to China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). In 2017, BC Energy entered into a cash-free agreement with BP to form Pan American Energy Group, the largest privately-owned integrated energy company in Argentina.

Bulgheroni's key business strategies include expanding Bridas through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. He has shown a knack for identifying lucrative opportunities, including those in the wine industry. He has also been involved in negotiations for significant projects, such as the Trans-Afghanistan Gas Pipeline. He is currently the Chairman of Pan American Energy Group.
