He earned a degree in agricultural engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). In 1980, Feldmann leveraged his experience to establish Fertipar. He started with a rented warehouse in Paranaguá, strategically located near the main fertilizer import port in Brazil. Fertipar distinguished itself by directly purchasing raw materials from international suppliers, quickly mixing, formulating, and distributing fertilizers, thus reducing costs and boosting efficiency. This strategy led to rapid expansion and market dominance.
