Rise to Success
Li Ping's career is closely tied to Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), a company founded in 2011 and the world's largest EV battery manufacturer. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the company. CATL supplies batteries to major automakers like BMW, Geely, and Tesla. The company's growth has been remarkable, driven by the rising demand for electric vehicles and CATL's innovative battery technologies. In 2023, CATL worked with Ford to build a battery factory in Michigan.
