Early Life
Kishin RK was born in 1983 as Kishin Hiranandani. His father, Raj Kumar, is a prominent real estate mogul and the founder of Royal Holdings. Kishin's early exposure to real estate began at age 12, when he bought his first apartment with his father's guidance. He attended Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College.
Rise to Success
Kishin formally joined the family business in 2003. However, he chose to build his own path, founding RB Capital in 2006 with funds from selling an apartment gifted by his parents. RB Capital focuses on real estate development, distinguishing itself from his family firm's approach of acquiring and managing ready-made assets. Kishin's strategic vision has led to significant projects in Singapore, including the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay and Holiday Inn Singapore Little India.
Key Business Strategies
RB Capital has a diversified portfolio including commercial, retail, and hospitality properties. Kishin's focus on development, as opposed to mere investment, has set him apart. He has expanded RB Capital's presence and is known for his commitment to urban transformation and sustainable design. In 2019, he co-founded TiffinLabs, an online meal delivery company. In late 2024, Kishin and his father established RB Family Office in Abu Dhabi to expand investments in the Middle East.
Philanthropy
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kishin co-founded Tiffin Labs and initiated the "Food is Love" program, delivering meals to those in need in Singapore. He serves as a committee member for charities including Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) and chairs the TiffinLabs Food is Love Foundation.
