Moll's career began in 1977 when he started acquiring clinics and laboratories in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 33. In 1994, he acquired the former Copa D'Or hotel in Copacabana and transformed it into a private hospital. He expanded further in 1998 with the acquisition of a hotel in Barra da Tijuca, which became the Barra D'Or hospital. In 2014, Moll became a billionaire due to his ownership of a majority of the medical facilities in Rio de Janeiro. The acquisition of the rival healthcare group Sao Luiz in 2015 significantly expanded his healthcare empire.
