Early Life and Education
Bahaa El-Dine Rafic Al-Hariri was born on April 26, 1966, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is the eldest son of Rafic Hariri, the assassinated former Prime Minister of Lebanon, and Nida Bustani. His father, a successful businessman, built a construction empire, providing Bahaa with an affluent upbringing. He received his early education at Collège des Frères Maristes in Sidon, Lebanon. Bahaa later pursued higher education in the United States, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University in 1990.
Rise to Success
After completing his studies, Bahaa entered the business world. In 2002, he founded Horizon Group, a real estate holding company. Under his leadership, Horizon Group has made significant investments and developed projects across Lebanon, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. He is also the majority owner of Globe Express Services, a logistics company operating in over 100 countries. Bahaa has also been involved in major urban development projects, including the revitalization of the Abdali district in Amman, Jordan.

He has also supported educational institutions, including Boston University, where he pledged $15 million for a computing institute. He has also been a vocal supporter of the 2019 Lebanese uprising against corruption and state failure.
