Early Life
Ali Erdemoglu was born in 1964, in Adıyaman, Turkey. He is the youngest of five siblings. His father, Mehmet Erdemoglu, was in the carpet business, which Ali entered after completing his primary school education. Ali spent his childhood and youth in Gaziantep.

Ali Erdemoglu, along with his brother İbrahim, acquired a significant stake in SASA Polyester. In 2015, they initially purchased 51% of SASA for $102 million.
