Early Life
Tanya Saadé Zeenny is the daughter of Jacques Saadé, who founded Compagnie Maritime d'Affrètement (CMA) in Marseille, France, in 1978. She graduated from the American Business School in Paris.
Rise to Success
Tanya joined the CMA CGM Group in 1995 to establish the Corporate Communications department. She has held several strategic positions within the company, including Vice-President of the CMA CGM Foundation, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Group Administration & Facilities Management, and Group Secretary General. In 2014, she was appointed Executive Officer, overseeing the Group's brand image, institutional relations, corporate social and environmental responsibility, administration, and real estate.

As Executive Officer, Tanya has played a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of CMA CGM. She has been instrumental in promoting the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation, including the adoption of LNG-powered vessels. She has also focused on expanding CMA CGM's global presence through acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
Philanthropy
Since 2019, Tanya has chaired the CMA CGM Foundation, which provides humanitarian aid during crises and supports education. The foundation has supported over 550 educational projects. The foundation has also supported over 450 initiatives worldwide, collaborating with organizations such as UNICEF and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Tanya initiated the “WE – Women Empowerment by CMA CGM” program, aimed at fostering female leadership within the Group.
