Ruan Shuilong's career began in 1970 with the establishment of the Lihai Commune Microbe Insecticide Factory in Shangyu, China. This was the foundation upon which his future business empire would be built. The factory initially focused on insecticide production.
Rise to Success
In 1979, the Shangyu Textile Printing-Dying Aux Factory was founded, and in 1993, it was renamed Zhejiang Dyestuff Aux Main Factory, signaling a shift towards dyestuffs and intermediates. A significant milestone was the first dyestuff production in 1992. In 1998, Ruan Shuilong became the chairman of the Zhejiang Longsheng Group. The group was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2003, marking a significant step in its growth. Longsheng has expanded to serve about 7,000 customers worldwide with sales and technical support in all key markets and agencies in 50 countries.
