After graduating, Wang began his career by developing computerized financial software for the State Council's government offices administration in Beijing. At 24, he made a pivotal decision to leave his job and establish his own venture, Yonyou (formerly UFIDA) with a small group of classmates. Yonyou focused on developing accounting and ERP software. The company would become a leading provider of enterprise management software in China and Asia. Yonyou was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011.
