Early Life
Pham Thu Huong was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, on June 14, 1969. She holds a Master's degree in International Law from Kyiv State University (Ukraine). In 1987, she met Pham Nhat Vuong and together they started the Mivina noodle factory in Kharkiv.
Rise to Success
Pham Thu Huong has worked alongside her husband, Pham Nhat Vuong, from his early entrepreneurial days in Ukraine before moving back to Vietnam. She co-founded Vinpearl and Vincom during the 2000-2002 period. Since November 15, 2011, she has served as the Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup. From 2014-2015, she held the position of Chairwoman of Vincom Retail, leading the company to a successful IPO. In 2020, she co-founded the VinFuture Foundation with her husband to sponsor the global VinFuture science and technology prizes. In March 2026, she was appointed as the new chairwoman of GSM Green and Smart Mobility JSC.

Pham Thu Huong plays a crucial role in Vingroup's operations. She is involved in the strategic projects and leads Vingroup's strategic projects and philanthropic activities. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Vingroup, under her leadership, contributed significantly to the government's COVID-19 prevention fund and supported the Vietnamese Ministry of Health.
