Nirmal Minda's entrepreneurial journey began in 1974 when he joined his family's business. His father started the business in 1958 to manufacture electric parts for motorcycles. In 1977, he joined the family business's marketing division. In 1996, Minda separated from his brother, eventually leading UNO Minda to unprecedented heights. The company expanded from a small Delhi workshop to 73 factories worldwide. Under his leadership, UNO Minda evolved into a diversified supplier of automotive parts, embracing new technologies and market trends. Since 2020, the company has supplied parts for electric vehicles.
