Nguyen Dang Quang is a Vietnamese billionaire businessman, best known as the founder and chairman of Masan Group Corporation, a leading conglomerate in Vietnam. Born in 1963, Quang earned an MBA from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and a doctorate from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. His career began in the 1990s with Masan Rus Trading Company, exporting instant noodles and later expanding into sauces and condiments. Returning to Vietnam, he founded Masan Group in 2001, which became a dominant player in consumer goods like fish sauce and instant noodles. As of March 25, 2026, his net worth is approximately $1.1 billion. He also holds significant stakes in Techcombank. Under his leadership, Masan Group has expanded into various sectors, including consumer products, food processing, mining, retail, and financial services.
