Lee Yeow Seng was born in 1978. He studied law at King's College London. Like his brother, he is a barrister-at-law from the Bar of England & Wales by Inner Temple. His father was Lee Shin Cheng, the founder of IOI Group. Yeow Seng grew up on a rubber plantation.
Rise to Success
Lee Yeow Seng is the CEO of IOI Properties Group. He was appointed to the Board of IOIPG on 25 February 2013 as Executive Director. He then held the position of Chief Executive Officer from 8 January 2014 until 14 April 2020. On 15 April 2020, Lee was appointed Executive Vice Chairman, and he resumed the position of Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 July 2023. His wealth stems from the palm oil and property businesses of the IOI Group.
