Jim Davis was born in 1943 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He attended Worcester Academy and then Middlebury College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry in 1966.
Rise to Success
Davis began his career as a sales engineer at LFE Corporation and then as a marketing manager for Applied Geodata Systems. In 1983, he co-founded Aerotek, later Allegis Group, with his cousin Steve Bisciotti. Allegis Group has grown to become a major player in the staffing industry, with offices across four continents and annual revenues exceeding $14 billion.
