Biography
Ioannis Papalekas is a Greek real estate investor and the largest shareholder of the publicly traded investment conglomerate Yoda Group. With a net worth of $2.4 billion, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the real estate industry. His career began with significant experience in real estate investment and development, particularly in Romania. Papalekas founded Globalworth, a real estate investment firm, and took it public on the London Stock Exchange in 2013. He later sold his stake in Globalworth for $315 million in early 2020. Prior to his involvement with Globalworth, he was involved in the acquisition, development, and disposal of substantial commercial and residential properties. Papalekas is currently focused on Yoda Group, investing in shipping, healthcare, technology, and real estate across Cyprus and Greece.
