Hans Georg Näder was born on September 4, 1961, in Duderstadt, Germany. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, he was exposed to the business world from a young age. Näder spent his childhood weekends in the company offices, developing an early interest in the family business.
Rise to Success
After completing his Abitur, Näder studied business administration at the Friedrich Alexander University in Nuremberg-Erlangen, graduating in 1988. He joined the family business, Otto Bock, in 1990, taking over the management from his father at the age of 28. Despite initial skepticism, Näder successfully led the company to become a global leader in prosthetics.

Under Näder's leadership, Ottobock expanded its operations worldwide and embraced new technologies. He introduced new fields of operation, including EDP technology, which led to the development of Sycor, a digitalization service provider.
