Dominika Kulczyk was born on July 30, 1977, in Poznań, Poland. She is the daughter of Grażyna and Jan Kulczyk, who was Poland's wealthiest man. She graduated from Karol Marcinkowski Secondary School and studied Sinology and Political Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She furthered her education with Mandarin Chinese courses at Huadong Shifan University and Peking University, and a course on strategic philanthropy at the London Institute.

Kulczyk's career is marked by her significant involvement in both business and philanthropy. She is a co-founder and president of the Kulczyk Foundation, focusing on social issues and aid projects.
