Rise to Success
Before founding Deel, Bouaziz gained experience through involvement in several startups. He co-founded Lifeslice and Sarona Ventures, which provided him with valuable insights into the challenges of managing global teams. Recognizing the difficulties that companies faced when hiring and paying international workers, Bouaziz, along with Shuo Wang, co-founded Deel in 2019. Deel offers a platform to simplify hiring, payroll, and compliance for global teams. The initial product was launched in April 2019. Under Bouaziz's leadership, Deel experienced explosive growth. In October 2025, Deel raised funding at a $17.3 billion valuation. The company has more than 37,000 clients and processes $22 billion in annual payroll.
