Early Life

Shuo Wang's story began in Shenyang, China. At age 16, she immigrated to the United States with her mother, settling in Baltimore, Maryland. Even as a teenager, Wang displayed an entrepreneurial spirit, selling scooters at flea markets. This early experience honed her sales instincts and laid the foundation for her future ventures.

Rise to Success

Wang pursued mechanical engineering with a focus on robotics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After graduating, she co-founded Aeris Cleantec, a company specializing in air purifiers. Aeris Cleantec was acquired by iRobot in 2021 for approximately $100 million. This was a turning point for Wang, setting the stage for her next major venture.

In 2019, Wang co-founded Deel with fellow MIT alum Alex Bouaziz. Deel aims to streamline global hiring by providing a platform for managing payroll, compliance, and HR functions for international employees. As Chief Revenue Officer, Wang has been key to Deel's rapid growth.
