The pivotal moment in Miłek's career was the fall of communism in Poland in 1989. He began selling shoes under his own brand, Miłek. Recognizing the opportunities, he established CCC SA in 1999, which quickly grew into the largest retail company in Poland. The company's slogan "Cena Czyni Cuda" (Price Makes Wonders) played a key role in its rapid expansion. In 2004, he listed CCC on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
