Dannine Avara, born in 1964 as Dannine Duncan, is the daughter of Barbara and Dan Duncan. Her father, Dan Duncan, was the co-founder of Enterprise Products. She grew up in a wealthy family, having access to the best education and opportunities. Dan Duncan started Enterprise Products in 1968 with $10,000 and a truck. By the time of his death in 2010, the company owned over 50,000 miles of natural gas, oil, and petrochemical pipelines.
