Early Life and Education

Andrei Removich Bokarev was born in Moscow, Russia, on October 23, 1966. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Finance in 1990.

Rise to Success

Bokarev's professional career began in 1998 when he became involved in Krutrade AG, managing export operations for the Kuzbassrazrezugol coal company. He has been a key partner in projects with Iskander Makhmudov, including Transmashholding (TMH), which is Russia's largest producer of rolling stock for railways and subway systems. Bokarev served as the president of Transmashholding until 2022. He has held significant positions in Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC). Bokarev was also a co-owner of the Kalashnikov Concern, a manufacturer of small arms, until 2017.
