Early Life
Zou Zhinong was born in the 1960s in Jiangxi. He graduated from Jilin University of Technology in 1991 with a degree in mechanical design. Following graduation, he worked as a technical engineer at Siping Blower Factory. His “Fan CAD Project” earned him a Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Award, marking an early success in his career.
Rise to Success
In the late 1990s, Zou became the general manager of Siping Dazhong Computer Co., Ltd., exploring computer technology. In 2001, he joined Haoyi Digital Network Co., Ltd. as a technical manager in Suzhou. In 2004, Zou founded Suzhou Industrial Park Mingzhan Technology Engineering Co., Ltd., specializing in optical communication system integration and testing. In 2005, Zou co-founded Suzhou Tianfu Precision Ceramics Co., Ltd., now Tianfu Communications, with Zhu Guodong. The company focuses on the development and production of passive devices for optical communication. Zou Zhinong has served as chairman, general manager, and chief engineer to ensure the company's industry leadership. The company went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2015.
Key Business Strategies
Zou's focus on optical fiber communication technology led to the founding of TFC. His leadership has helped the company launch innovative products, receiving support from the National Innovation Fund in 2009. After 18 years of development, Zou and his team have accumulated many world-leading process technologies in basic materials such as precision ceramics, engineering plastics, composite metals, and optical glass.
