Early Life
Sol Daurella Comadrán was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1966. She comes from a family with a long history in business, particularly in the beverage industry. Her grandfather was a Spanish importer of salted cod. The Daurella family's involvement with Coca-Cola dates back to 1951, when they obtained the license to bottle and distribute Coca-Cola in Spain, creating the first Spanish bottler.
Rise to Success
Daurella began her career at Mac Group, a strategic consultancy firm, before joining the Coca-Cola system in 1992. Over the years, she held various leadership positions within the Coca-Cola network, including CEO of Coca-Cola Iberian Partners. In 2016, she became the Chairman of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the world's largest independent Coca-Cola bottler. Prior to her appointment as Chairman of Coca-Cola European Partners, she had been CEO at Coca-Cola Iberian Partners.
