Early Life
Premchand Godha was born in a farming family in Rajasthan. After completing his graduation in Commerce from Ajmer, Rajasthan, he moved to Mumbai to pursue Chartered Accountancy. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971, beginning his practice.

Godha's career took a significant turn in 1975 when he, along with the Bachchan family, invested in Ipca Laboratories, a struggling pharmaceutical company at the time.
