Naresh Jain's journey began in Uttar Pradesh, India, where he developed an early interest in physics and mathematics. He earned a Master's degree in statistics in India. Later, he moved to the United States with his wife to pursue graduate studies at Stanford University, initially in statistics and then in mathematics, where he completed a Ph.D. thesis.

Jain's career is rooted in the auto components sector. He built his wealth through founding and scaling Endurance Technologies and Varroc Engineering. These companies became publicly listed entities, supplying critical components to global OEMs. He served as the chairman of both companies, guiding their growth and expansion. Jain's leadership coincided with the liberalization of the Indian economy in the 1990s, which opened new avenues for private enterprise.
