Maximilian Viessmann, born in 1989, is the fourth generation of the Viessmann family to be involved in the company. Before his role at Viessmann, he gained experience at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from TU Darmstadt and a master's from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Maximilian Viessmann joined the family business in 2015 and became CEO in January 2022. Under his leadership, Viessmann has scaled digitization and sustainable solutions, fostering a collaborative global culture. In 2023, he played a pivotal role in the sale of Viessmann's Climate Solutions Business to Carrier, and subsequently joined Carrier's Board of Directors.
