Maximilian Viessmann, born in 1989, is the fourth generation of the Viessmann family to be involved in the company. Before his role at Viessmann, he gained experience at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from TU Darmstadt and a master's from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Rise to Success
Maximilian Viessmann joined the family business in 2015 and became CEO in January 2022. Under his leadership, Viessmann has scaled digitization and sustainable solutions, fostering a collaborative global culture. His leadership has expanded the company's ecosystem through new ventures and partnerships, driving international growth, with over 54% of its turnover generated abroad. In 2023, he played a pivotal role in the sale of Viessmann's Climate Solutions Business to Carrier, and subsequently joined Carrier's Board of Directors.
