After graduating, Budiman embarked on her career, starting at PT Bank Bali as an account officer. This early experience in the banking sector laid the groundwork for her later involvement in technology. In 1989, she joined PT Sigma Cipta Caraka, an IT solutions company, where she gained deep insights into the tech industry. In 1994, she co-founded Indonet, Indonesia's first internet service provider. In 2011, Marina co-founded DCI Indonesia with Otto Toto Sugiri and Han Arming Hanafia. DCI Indonesia became the first Tier IV data center operator in Southeast Asia and has since become a major player in Indonesia's data center market. Marina has been the President Commissioner of DCI Indonesia since 2016.
