Budiman's career took a pivotal turn when she co-founded Indointernet (Indonet) with Otto Toto Sugiri in 1994. Indonet was Indonesia's first internet service provider, which significantly expanded internet accessibility and laid the groundwork for the country's digital future. Marina then co-founded PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) in 2011 with Otto Toto Sugiri and Han Arming Hanafia. PT DCI Indonesia became the first Tier IV data center operator in Southeast Asia. As of April 30, 2021, Marina is the 2nd largest shareholder of DCII with a portion of 26.27 percent.
