Marc David Günther Fielmann was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1989. He is the son of Günther Fielmann, who founded Fielmann AG in 1972. Marc grew up in Hamburg and was prepared from a young age to take on responsibilities within the family business.

Before joining Fielmann Group, Marc Fielmann gained experience in the eyewear industry, working for Luxottica and Safilo Group. He joined the Fielmann Group in 2012. In 2019, at age 29, he became the CEO of Fielmann AG, succeeding his father, Günther Fielmann, and becoming Germany's youngest CEO of a listed company at the time. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its international presence and embraced digitalization.
