Marc David Günther Fielmann was born in Hamburg, Germany, on July 24, 1989. He is the eldest child of Günther Fielmann, the founder of Fielmann AG, and Heike Fielmann. He attended Schule Schloss Salem and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he obtained a BSc.
Rise to Success
Fielmann's career began with industry experience at Luxottica and Safilo Group. He joined the family business, Fielmann Group, in 2012. Since 2019, he has been the sole CEO of Fielmann AG, succeeding his father, Günther Fielmann. Under his leadership, Fielmann AG has expanded internationally and invested in digitization. Fielmann was the youngest CEO among listed companies in Germany when he was appointed.
