Early Life
Linda Pritzker was born in September 1953 in Oberlin, Ohio, to Robert Pritzker and Audrey Gilbert. The family's wealth originates from strategic investments in hospitality, manufacturing, and other sectors. Her father, Robert Pritzker, founded the Marmon Group.
Rise to Success
Linda Pritzker's life took a different turn when she became ordained as a lama in Tibetan Buddhism in 2005, adopting the name Lama Tsomo. She studied extensively with Gochen Tulku Sangak Rinpoche, completing a three-year traditional retreat and becoming fluent in Tibetan. She co-founded the Namchak Foundation and Namchak Retreat Ranch, dedicated to promoting Tibetan Buddhist teachings.
Key Business Strategies
Linda Pritzker has chosen a path focused on spirituality and philanthropy, rather than the family's business enterprises.
