Konstantin Goncharov was born on October 1, 1971, in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region, Russia. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Rise to Success

Goncharov's career trajectory includes holding top managerial positions in various business entities from 2003 to 2015. In 2015, he acquired Novotrans, a company that was operating at a loss, and transformed it into a major player in the transportation and logistics sector. His leadership led to significant expansion, including a fleet of 25,000 railway cars and several wagon repair plants. Novotrans is also building a marine terminal in the Baltic Sea.

Key Business Strategies

Goncharov's strategy involves diversifying Novotrans's business and completing vertical integration, from infrastructure construction and industrial capacity to rolling stock repair and cargo transportation. He has focused on building new infrastructure facilities and expanding the company's presence in the market. Goncharov has also been involved in the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) since April 2016.
