David Fattal was born in Haifa, Israel, in 1957. He earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Haifa. He furthered his education with studies at the Tadmor School for Hotel Management and courses at Cornell University. Fattal's career in the hotel industry started at age 27 as General Manager of Dan Accadia Hotels in Herzliya.

Rise to Success

In 1998, David Fattal founded the Fattal Hotel Management Company, launching his own venture with the Le Meridien Eilat. His strategic vision led to the rapid expansion of the company. By 2005, Fattal Hotels began expanding into Europe, establishing Leonardo Hotels as its European division. Fattal took the company public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in 2018.
