Early Life
Christian Latouche was born in Bordeaux, France, in 1940, into a family of merchants. He received his education from the Jesuit Fathers at the Collège de Provence in Marseille. After completing his baccalaureate in Marseille, Latouche served in the military. Since October 1, 1975, he has been an assistant military intendant in the reserve.
Rise to Success
Latouche's career began in 1969 when he started working in the Lyon offices of the renowned Ernst & Young auditing firm as the director of the accounting review department. In 1970, he founded Sofinarex, a company specializing in supporting very small businesses (TPEs), which became the foundation of Fiducial. Through strategic acquisitions, including DACF-CECF in 1989 and Sofidex in 1993, Latouche expanded Fiducial, making it a leading accounting and business services giant. In 1996, he expanded his company to Belgium and began international expansion by opening his first international office in the United States in 1999.
