Chaitanya Desai received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania.

Chaitanya Desai joined Apar Industries in 1993 and headed the Polymer division. He was instrumental in various business transactions, including acquisitions and mergers.
