Sergei Nikolaevich Sudarikov was born in Moscow, Russia, on May 12, 1971. His early life was marked by a passion for technology. He began his career in the financial market in 1994.
Rise to Success
Sudarikov started at Region Group in 1995 as a trader. In 1997, he was appointed Commercial Director of the REGION Investment Company, and since 2001 he has been heading the company as the Director General. In 2011, he and a group of partners bought the business from its founder. Region bought several asset management businesses from state-owned oil firm Rosneft in 2011, helping it become one of Russia's largest investment groups. In 2019, Sudarikov agreed to merge his assets with billionaire Roman Avdeev's Rossium concern. Sudarikov became owner of 93% of Rossium in 2024.
