Early Life
Samir Mane was born on December 24, 1967, in Korçë, Albania. He studied at the Faculty of Geology and Mining at the University of Tirana. In 1991, with the collapse of communism in Albania, Mane emigrated to Austria.
Rise to Success
In Austria, Mane started working and building a professional network. He identified an opportunity to enter the business of electronic products and home appliances in Albania. In 1993, Mane founded Alba-Trade, a company specializing in electronic products for the Albanian market. This venture led to the establishment of the BALFIN Group (Balkan Finance Investment Group). The BALFIN Group expanded its interests into sectors like tourism, retail, real estate, and banking.

Mane's key business strategies included expanding across various sectors and countries. The BALFIN Group operates in 10 countries across Europe and America. His focus on real estate led to major projects such as shopping malls in Albania and elsewhere.
Philanthropy
Samir Mane is also a philanthropist. In 2023, he established the Mane Foundation, a charitable fund supporting education, environmental issues, and poverty alleviation in the Western Balkans. He supports initiatives related to education and youth, environmental issues, as well as those that contribute to the alleviation of poverty and inequality.
