Marissa Ann Mayer was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, on May 30, 1975. Growing up, she displayed a strong aptitude for math and science. She graduated from Wausau West High School in 1993. She led product management and design for Google Search, which grew from a few hundred thousand to over a billion searches per day under her leadership. In 2012, Marissa Mayer was appointed CEO of Yahoo!, becoming one of the youngest CEOs of a Fortune 500 company.
