Early Life

Lin Xiucheng's entrepreneurial journey began in the 1980s, when he started his career by trading scrap steel. Through shrewd business acumen, he amassed his initial capital. In 1992, he co-founded Sanan Ironworks with Fujian Sanming Iron & Steel Plant. This marked the start of his foray into the industrial sector.

Rise to Success

In 1999, Lin attended a high-tech fair in Shenzhen where he first encountered Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Seeing the potential, Lin shifted his focus to the LED industry. He injected his LED business into a Shanghai-listed firm in exchange for a majority stake and changed its name to Sanan Optoelectronics in 2008.
